In its endeavour to bring world class infrastructure to the grower, FIL has been at the forefront in the setting up of Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Storage facilities in Jammu & Kashmir, as well as the rest of the country. FIL Industries Limited is amongst the top three companies in India to have invested in the development of post-harvest management systems and has been the pioneer in bringing the CA Storage technology to India.

FIL has its own Controlled Atmosphere Storage with an integrated capacity of 10,000 MT, with its own state-of-art pack and grade line. The facility is centrally located at Srinagar, in Jammu & Kashmir in close proximity to the main fruit growing areas.

FIL's technology is at par with the ones used in controlled atmosphere stores internationally. The CA facilities at Rangreth are a key component towards the setting up of a well organized cold chain which is a pre – requisite to guaranteeing the supply of high quality and branded fruits and vegetables to the market.
