CONSUMER DIVISION : JUICE CONCENTRATE

In its quest to redefine the fruit processing industry in India, the Consumer Division of FIL Industries Limited was set-up over a decade ago with the foray and development of one of the largest fruit juice concentrate units in Asia. With an annual capacity of 7500 MT, the Division is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and export of fruit juice concentrates.

The geographical advantage of the location of FIL's Plant in Srinagar, close to the fruit growing areas, and availability of a diverse range of fruits, ensures that only the best quality fruit goes into processing. Such a natural benefit, combined with the state-of-the-art technology from Austria, Germany, Italy, and United Kingdom installed in FIL's manufacturing unit has allowed us to reach the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction

With the final product being as per individual customer demands, we are leading suppliers of fruit juice concentrates and aroma to the beverage industry, ice cream and dairy producers, the confectionary and bakery industry, renowned baby food manufacturers, health and nutritional products, as well as in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

Our Products

Our key products are Apple Juice Concentrate and Apple Aroma, and FIL is the largest exporter of Apple Juice Concentrate and Apple Aroma from India. We also manufacture as per customer requirements concentrates and puree’s of pear, cherry, apricot and plum.

 

Our Manufacturing Facility

The plant is a hallmark of technological excellence, commissioned with state of the art advanced machinery procured from the best sources worldwide. The salient features of the plant include:

	A Bellmer double wrinkle fruit press from Germany with a crushing capacity of 20 MT per hour.
	India’s first Ultrafiltration Plant from PCI Membrane of United Kingdom.
	A separate aroma recovery unit from Schmidt Bretten of Germany that extracts the aroma of each fruit in order to restore the original flavor to the end product.
	A 4 stage Schmidt bretten Sigmaster plate evaporator that ensures the desired degree of juice concentration.
	Fully equipped testing laboratory including HPLC equipment for testing of patulin.
